How much will it cost?

Texts can vary enormously in length, density, complexity and layout.

Generally projects work out  between £2.00 and £2.50 per page, with some specialist publications
requiring a higher rate.

Factors affecting the cost include:
density of text; density of indexing; author and research references;
figures, tables, diagrams; consultation of author; use of reference sources; amendments
to proofs; timescale available for work; special layout .

Conversely a  well  spaced text with broad overviews would work out  less.

Each commission will be estimated individually based on a proof sample  or other details
providing sufficient information for a quote to be given.

Negotiation is possible and budgets can sometimes be accommodated.
